SIYA International team is happy to present this Yoga Nidra/Deep Relaxation program as part of its “Yoga for Health Management” Series, which highlights the importance of the therapeutic power of yoga as a preventive and supplementary healthcare practice for physical, energetic, emotional, mental, social and spiritual wellbeing.

90 Days Challenge:  The video of yoga session and all contents from the program will be put on SIYA International's LMS (Learning Management System) so you can continue practicing for 90 days. The additional interactive sessions in June and July are planned to help you keep the motivation and bring in some new learnings too! Your 90 days challenge will start from the day you enroll in the course and after the end of the 5 live sessions. You will have the convenience of practicing Yoga Nidra everyday and as many times and style from the 5 sessions over next 90 days to bring about a deep relaxation response from your entire being. And all these at only $1 per day!!!

Highlights
- Yoga Nidra is a guided practice of deep relaxation into the liminal space between waking and sleeping. It is a more efficient and effective form of physiological rest and rejuvenation than sleep! And it is an excellent doorway to drop-in to a meditative state.

- Traditionally, yoga nidra is practiced as a powerful method for releasing ourselves from our conditioned mental and emotional patterns (samskaras) — the psychological imprints or impressions that give rise to our repetitive thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
 
- This practice helps to unravel the physical, mental and emotional tensions and past experiences that are keeping you from your true nature.
 
- We will start with some gentle slow movements to allow the flow of energy through the body, along with breathing practices and then lie down for the practice of yoga nidra.

- These classes will get you started in your daily yoga nidra practice or deepen your current practice of yoga nidra.

Your guide and instructor

Jaya/Julie Boyse (E RYT-450) has been trained in the Sivananda lineage through Sivananda Vendanta Camp in Montreal, Canada, and SIYA International with Swami Mahesh in Bangalore, India. She is a registered yoga teacher through both the Yoga Alliance and Canadian Yoga Alliance as a E-RYT 450.

She travels to India regularly to deepen her study, understanding and experiences in Classical Yoga from the roots and original source of Yoga. She lives in Niagara, Canada teaching chair yoga in senior care facilities, along with Classical Hatha Yoga classes, Yoga Nidra, Mantra Chanting, Kirtan and Learn to Meditate classes. She also runs day retreats, gathers groups to travel to India for Yoga and Ayurveda Retreats and co-teaches Yoga Teacher Training courses.

Swami Mahesh is the first wandering yogi from India to have conducted yoga programs on all seven continents on Earth. He has a degree in Engineering and a Masters in Yoga Philosophy and has over 25 years of experience teaching yoga. His articulate and engaging teaching technique in an open caring environment creates an effective learning of Yoga and spiritual life.
